I think that would be a crime. Georgians can't handle snow, there would be mass casualties. I felt bad cause I'm in a hurry to get to school so I couldn't stop and pull people out this morning.

No they can not, they are idiots when it comes to snow. With the little ice we had this past weekend I sat back and watched people spin and spin and spin. Quite humorous if you ask me

I feel like it is just an inconvienence for me. But for most of the people I live around (college students with go fast cars) it is like the apocalypse. The funny part is every Subaru driver gets balls of steel when it snows. Then they get high centered or turn too fast and then I'm the one yanking them out. For every 5 cars in the ditch 2 are Subies. But it's all good experience for a real trail recovery

Another header question, how do I measure the cat back spacing?

What do you mean by back spacing. The cats can be moved if your putting new ones in. You just have to have your o2 placed accordingly.

They have different bolt spacing. Realized I left out a key word (bolt)

I guess you'll have to measure, mine wasn't like either of those, I only had two bolts.

Looks like the 3.5 is the one for the 2bolt flange like ours...

Looks great! Seems you have a bit more experience rattle can painting than I do haha. Props for doing it after they were on. Mine came out okay for my first time rattle canning I suppose. Though I opted for the safer route of painting off the truck.

And then yesterday, they got welded on.

Came out sweet! I like the positioning of them. Are they 4xInnovations?

Yepp. I'd have happily supported a more local vendor, but unfortunately, money steered me towards 4x. Their price is so damn good.
And for reference, they are angled at ~22.7°

Yeah I plan on doing both of those things. But when it comes to repainting them, I won't have to go as ham as I did with the initial paint. I'm sure I will still overspray and have to rush to clean it off the body either way though...

For all you guys just rattle canning your sliders,I'd recommend putting grip tape or something that will keep people from slipping on them when it rains.

I'm still considering it. I have grip tape to the sides and back of my rear bumper to help getting in and out of the bed. You can see here. Though I've added it to the corner as well, so you can get up/down with the tailgate down.

    0930161113b.jpg

Hoping the rattle can bedliner will provide enough grip for the sliders, but I have my doubts. I guess I will just have to be careful where I put tape on them, so people aren't ripping their legs open...

But on a related issue, my truck's worn out stock height is sort of too low for sliders, when it comes to getting in/out of the cab. I can essentially sit right in and step right out, and I am only 5'6". So they are sort of in the way lol. Looking forward to when it's a bit higher, so I can properly use them to get in/out.
