I would just disconnect it and pull air from under the hood. Would be a hell of a lot less water getting in there. All it takes it one good splash with it being wide open like that.

I'm gonna have a fun time cleaning all the mud up. When I was leading down the road I hit that big ass mud puddle going like 40. Mud. Everywhere. I'll probably crawl under after work with the power washer and do my best to get what the rain left.

Still gotta drill those holes on the bottom of the sliders to drain

 

Only problem with that is all the custom plastic fab you gotta do to fit a snorkel on glass.

 

Yeah I'd be scared to hit a puddle like that.

 

Well glass is quite a few years away for me, so not my problem. Mike loves cutting up his trucks so he'll be alright

 

Some guys just buy the snorkel head and run a pipe to it. Im looking into that

 

Shellmop did a snorkel with glass, may be able to check his set up out prior to getting one.
Also, the mahalotaco snorkel group buy shit show will have a lot of people selling their snorkels right after they get them. tcbob said they should be arriving to port on the 12th (or something like that) so it should be happening soon.

Should have the truck payed off by the summer, then it's for sale. Figured with going LT, I'd lose most of my resale so might as well sell it and go 4x4. Also cuz 4x4 LT is OP.
