I'm not really. Probably trade for a new SR5 access cab with a V6 or Line-X Body Armor this black 4 cylinder I'm driving now.

LOL These articles are such bullshit. It does not even cite any sources. Toyota is perfectly content riding the coattails of the Tacoma that existed when they had no competition. They gave you new body skins and a car motor. Take it any enjoy it.

every single link cited here is bullshit.. that dailyknoxville article linked puts out "a new frontier is coming" article every few months.

and carreleasedates2017.com??? really?? They take existing pics found on websites to post what's already known or they do complete make believe photo chops.. a durango front on a RAM and call it a Dakota? or take a Dakota front and glue it to a Colorado?

a lot of you are gullible

If Toyota REALLY had a diesel in the works, Trucktrend, TFLTruck, Left Lane News, pickuptrucks.com etc., would be all over that like flies on shit. Some shitty small town newspaper does not have a lead that other journals do not.
As far as the guy saying that international Ford Ranger is how the new 2019 Ranger will look, you have no clue. No way Ford is going to release an official image this far from launch.

Manufacturers have been playing the worlds longest poker game. Sure Toyota can come out with a Diesel Tacoma, but why show all your cards when the flop is in your favor.

:drunk: Yup! Like I mentioned though, I have no need for a diesel the way things are here, now. I also think my post might have made it sound like I'd consider a Duramax, nope. Never.

The people who buy this clickbait like gospel are the reason that a huge segment of the population still think Obama is going to come for their guns in the next two weeks before he is out of office. Good God, I thought Tacoma World was better than this.

I am discussing how ridiculous it is that people are believing the crap they read on the internet. Every time an online news outlet posts a stock image of a global Ranger people chime in about how ugly the upcoming US Ranger is when they are too lazy to read that that is now how the new Ranger will look. You can bet Ford is keeping all 2019 Ranger styling elements top secret.

I see people posting all the time "Whelp, my cousin Cleetus said they gonna put a diesel in next year's Tacoma" and people get all fired up and start believing it. It's just ridiculous. Do your homework, people. It's not that hard.

There is my discussion for you.

Yeah I'll admit I missed the one sentence. Not a big deal. You did a lot of assuming about me in that "discussion". Now who's being lazy? Again, who got "fired up" so much that it offended you? It started a discussion. As it was intended. You do you boo boo.

Hopefully the Ranger isn't as ugly as the F150 is.

I'd be more interested in a hybrid Tacoma over a diesel.
