I have my backseat headrests removed all the time for visibility, but did you intentionally cover up the holes on your driver-side back seat and not your passenger-side? Just curious.

I haven't installed any yet. I've been considering aftermarket halogen and LED bulbs. Most halogens don't seem to be a big "whiteness" improvement for the cost and don't last more than a year or so. Most LEDs seem to not have enough distance compared to the halogen bulbs although they are a lot whiter. They also have a risk of computer/electrical problems on this truck although rare. HIDs are good all around but have a lot more wiring and have the same risk as LEDs. Still not sure what I'll do...

@SkolChipz I have one of those hi back booster chairs for my 6 yr old and the head rest gets in the way...figured I don't have to use it for another two years to prevent any dust dirt build up.

I am in the same boat as you.. I am going to either do the Sylvania zXe or the PIAA Xtreme White Plus. Just trying to figure out which one will last longer.

$40 for the zXe and $65 for the PIAA. Was also considering SilverStar Ultra and CrystalVision Ultra. All have mediocre reviews for whiteness and bulb life though

My ultras lasted a year. They were great but for 40 bucks I want more than a year out of them.

Don't think it's the tires, the display for them is at 32 for all four. I believe it's time for a service. I'm right at 14,000 and I got my last one at 8,900 or something close to that. I'll walk out to my truck and read the manual, just being lazy.

Got my switch plate in today. Thx @forty2 for this cool design. Also got my custom CH4X4 switches as well. Gives it a nice clean look. Probably give it a test fit tomorrow.

I just want a nice "white" light without potentially putting any other components at risk! Is that too much to ask?! Lol

Let me know what you end up going with

Get a set of zXe and try them out. Put one in and compare to stock. You'll see a big difference. I liked them so well for my Low beams zi ordered a set for the Fogs!

I am leaning towards the zXe. However, my only concern is the life span of these bulbs. If it's going to cost me 40 bucks every year or two I don't know if that will be a smart investment. Maybe dropping 120$ for a well known LED light is the better route?
