Good discount off the total but they over charged for step bars and protection package 2x. Also ripped you on the nitro in tires. Nitro is a dealer gimmick to just tack on another $200.

I just leased a 2017 SR5 right before the end of year. $2500 Total Down including tax, title, etc. Then $350 per month includes 15,000 miles per year, step ups, floor mats, and GPS navigation.

only issue is...if its a loan you return the warranty it won't come off your monthly payment.

I also am pretty sure that you don't get a check it just comes off the principal owed on the truck.

It was 44k and change. My trade was higher than the truck so I paid no taxes. The trd pro included the steps and bed lights also.

Paid $26,860 before tax etc for my 17' sr back in august. Not much below MSRP of $27,274 but the dealer did go nearly 300 miles to get one with the convenience package and 4x4 manual transmission that I asked for. Add in~$100 and 10 mins for the wiper switch upgrade and I am a happy camper!

    Premium Technology package w/ JBL
    Tonneau Cover
Vinyl hood sticker (around the hood scoop)
    mud flaps
    all weather mats
    predator steps
    *all options installed*

    $39070.09 before tax/license/title
That price does include the dealer doc fee or whatever else they charged. figure they can kind of charge whatever they want an my goal was to be out the door for $42,000 - IL has 6.25% state tax and my town has a 0.75% city tax.

Hope this helps the next buyer as this thread I feel greatly prepared me for making a fair (and accepted) offer to my local dealer.

Nice profile pic of the truck. Never lived in an area that has city taxes.
What was the MSRP with all the options included?

yeah good ol' IL.... everything in IL gets taxed on top of "normal" thanks to Chicago....

anyhoo, MSRP was right at $41k +++ looked like a fair deal was going to be between $1500-$2000 off MSRP for around here and that's what I got.

something to keep in mind is this:
The CHEAPEST deal isn't always the best deal... meaning is it really worth pissing off your local guys who made need to go to bat for you one day for a measly couple hundred dollars?

Not bad. I also got roughly $2000 off MSRP. Sticker was $36742 and I paid $34830.
I do agree that you don't want to piss off the sales department if that is the same dealership you are going to get your service on your truck performed. They might tell the mechanics to tear something up on your truck because they only made $100 worth of commission off your deal. Lol!

I also understand car salesman got to make a living too. I am not going to force them to sell me the car $2000-3000 below invoice when I know the holdback on the truck is only $1200 if they sell it at invoice. If they sell it $2000 below invoice they didn't make any profit and the salesman only gets $50 commission.

Of course everyone wants a great deal but I try to be fair and give them the opportunity to earn a decent commission. Plus I didn't get any of the add ons they sell in the finance office so they should at least make some profit on the truck since I said no to all the add ons.

All dealerships are different. When I sold cars it was $100 for each new car plus a piece of any add ons. Sell enough and you get bonuses.

There is no way for anyone to say whether this is a great deal or not. We need the complete picture.
    MSRP?
Sale price including any deal fees ?
