I have tried Amazon and almost any truck part I try to order will not ship to my overseas APO address, but I did contacting ARE directly today just awaiting a reply. I just thought I would ask on here to see what other options I had. And I was thinking the same thing about the glass, I will probably have to improvise somehow.

Can I bother you to give a bit more details of the bulb seal you used?
I have an ARE MX coming in a bit more than a week. i was going to ask them what they are going to use, and substitute something better if I have to.

    Thanks much in advance.

Hopefully this link works. I used the 3/4" by 9/16" bulb seal and rann multiple strips along the length of the bed after pulling the plastic caps off.

I can picture that.... But is that necessary?
I have imagined that the shape of the cap accounts for those plastic caps, is that right?
I assume the caps are the long strips on the bed rails.

    Thanks,

I have a different type of camper than most and pulling the caps helped me greatly, but if your manufacturer accounted for their shape in their production then I'd lay the bulb seal over top of them.

Thanks. I will have to research that. I only assumed. And you know what they say about that. :)

Now that I know what bulb seal is, I got lost in an internet search.
You say you put multiple layers... I found one called Lid Seal by Trim Lok with multiple rows built in.

I didn't run layers, but multiple rows. I used the single row because it allowed me to get allot more rows per bed side.

Understand, but if you single strip like I did you can lay single rows right next to each other instead of having that gap. I'm not saying that type wouldn't work as I have no experience with it, I just used the "as many barriers as possible" logic.
