I know I'm gonna get blasted by IF's friends, since they are his excuse makers but I must call a spade a spade... (not calling out his friends for sticking up for him, ya'll are cool and I know since you are friends, he actually does good work for you)

SO you're telling me that an "offroad recovery" bumper is purposely designed to not work with the most common size shackle there is for our size vehicle recovery? Merely 90% of people have these shackles but lets design it to not fit them for no real reason. Sounds fishy.
"Hey we're going to sell you this Rotopax, but to use it, you have to have this special tool to open it. If you lose the tool, there is NO way to get the fuel out as it is puncture, spill, and open-proof. Hope you dont lose the key while in the desert, alone..."

He never got contacted... doubtful. I've seen nothing but the EXACT same M.O. from complaints that have been posted on this forum, and ones that haven't been posted on here. I have yet to see a "look at my beautiful fab work, and great customer service to boot" post about IF... ever. It is ALWAYS "he has my money, missed a deadline by a month and now wont return my contact.. can one of his friends please help me."

And the shackles are not the only issue I saw with the bumper/install when taking a quick look at it, there were two other pretty obvious issues. I am not a fabricator, and I didn't even look under the bumper.

I'm not saying this guy isn't a good person or friend, but he obviously has some serious issues with customer service, quality control and integrity. And yes I will stand behind that statement based on all of the shit I've seen.

IMO it looks like @2016spicytaco is getting the very raw end of a deal... and I hate seeing people get taken advantage of. Hopefully he actually gets taken care of instead of a set of shackles that probably have been ground down to fit. I could make a guess at what actually happened here...but I think I've said my piece.

yeah. I work at NBB..I posted it before... I usually end up with a mix or lovers and haters so i talk more about making beer and less about the company i work for..I just make beer because i like too, and support my family, because its an honor too...
