Ah, I see, then yes you would have to remove one side the bar and then just slide the bolt in.

I am going to get about 7-8 of these and use them for both the side and the rear awnings, a little fabrication will be needed, but nothing crazy.

Yep, I have a plan to use those plus two more to mount those lights I bought from you off the back. Going to have the awning mount up and the light mounts down. So I can use the lights when the awning is stored and deployed.

Didn't you get a luma-noodle, or whatever? Have you used it yet?

    It's awesome!

We used ours while camping in Big Bend. The remote is super handy for not having to turn off the lights while you're warm in a sleeping bag.

    Also, colors/patters/rave and such.

I did get one! I am going to use it this weekend at Barnwell! Can't wait to try it out! Tested it in the house and its pretty damn awesome! Will be perfect for the pop up canopy or the two awnings when I get them mounted.

Sorry for the delay it's been pretty crazy over here, but I'm back at the computer for a bit now :)

Here are some pics of my setup:

You can see how I've got ground busses on either side of the RTMR just like tacozord's setup. I did not paint the bottom of the aluminum mounting plate.
    20161011_200243.jpg

What it all looked like from the top with black mounting hardware.
    20161011_184029.jpg

Here's the mounting plate stripped of all my goodies and after I tried making it fit in another spot without luck. Needs refinishing due to my initial lazy paint prep.
    20170109_235642.jpg

Let me know if you could use it and I'll get it to you next time I'm in Tyler.

Good deal. It served me well for three months but that damn supercharger had to go ruin everything lol

There's an idea! I'll sell it to ya cheap too hahahaha

My truck would be a slooooooow sumbitch without the gofast pump. I still need to upgrade the pulley and fuel pump sometime this spring.

How much is cheap? Cause this thread would explode if I did a supercharger I think...

    Now I want a supercharger.

I would like to, but would be sooooo much work, and a lot more $$$

Supercharger would be easier and also give me good power and I know that it would work for the engine.

Looks... Eh. Takes up a lot of space for the tvale surface. Look at the pic, it barely fits a propane stove.

IMO, you'd be better served with an action packer to store stuff, and a folding table to cook on.

Alternatively, tailgate + swing out/table is another idea.

We've been using an action packer for our cooking stuff/propane gear with good results this far.

    Will look at it more.

I currently two Home Depot Yellow Tops that I use, one is for the kitchen and one is for the air mattress, tent, stove, and bigger things. Then a front runner box for the smaller stuff.

yea, once I have the swingout I really want even need my folding table anymore.

Good points. I like the supercharger so far. I'm not sure how much more power I'm getting since I added all the armor right before the SC, but I know there's more there.

I wasn't planning on doing the SC so soon into my taco journey, but the GB last fall was too good for me to ignore.

It is pretty hard to ignore some Group Buys sometimes.

My current power is ok, I would like more lowend which I know a supercharger wont provide as well as a turbo, but I would rather have the easy install and everything on it instead of having a shop do everything custom and then risk throwing a rod or something.

You'd be surprised... it's awesome having tables for all the things. Camping over NYE my buddy and I had three tables set up will all our crap... as well as my tailgate and swingout table lol

We were drinking a whole lot though, so I'm sure we could have made more efficient use of the space if we were sober :drunk:
