46$ but it is a big set for different sizes and types. O'Reilly has really cool one!
I'll take that instead of buying from urd

Yeah, when I switched to the smaller pully i put a T into the boost line and ran it to the fuel pressure regulator and capped off the port on the air intake.

Well, so much for selling my wife on this idea then! Fingers were crossed for a more efficient burn translating to better MPG.

I will stay envious of all of you who got in on this deal.

In all fairness, I have a heavy foot when I drive my Tacoma, so I may not be the right person to ask. If I were to drive it like my work truck, my gas mileage would greatly improve.

I will say this, it is really the single best modification you can do for your Tacoma. If I had to give up every other mod just to have a supercharger, I wouldn't think twice.

The lowest I've seen is 15mpg but I don't really rag on it that much so I imagine it could be a lot lower. Once I add the shell and some other go slow mods I'm sure it'll go down even more. I don't rack up that many miles day to day so MPG isnt much of a factor for me.

How much higher does the fuel pressure go over the stock 43psi when you hook the FPR to the boost port?

    Going to play with some
BD tunes tonight. Shit just seems slow in boost. Don't know if the novelty wore off or what. Still getting high afr readings in closed loop mode, maybe because the 02 sensor is after the cats? Wonder if moving the fpr hose will help run rich...

How high is your AFR in closed loop?

Tell her you'll get better mileage when towing. It'll pay for itself after only 400 fill ups.

Reading 14.8 or 14.9 at idle while driving seen it go as high as 16 but most of the time under slight load it's at 15.5 or so. This is all in closed loop if I punch it she screams. I know with the 02 thatbfsr back readings can be skewed. Maybe the actuator is stuck or something. Just weird that I see and hear people with their afr pretty steady. Just don't want to blow up the motor just yet.

Turned off the sprint booster, drove a lot better on the way home. Stays at 14.9 more than before, only goes to 15.5 when going up a hill @3 psi boost. The other times it was going as high as 6 psi. Hopefully I didn't burn up the rings and and valves earlier. Going to try this for a few days.

Its called the "oem fpr mod". Its used to increase pressure to the fuel system to increase the flow through the injectors. It increases the pressure directly related to the amount of boost you generate. With the smaller pulley and the long tube headers, i was running slightly lean at wide open throttle 11.8-12.0 so this mod got me back to about 10.5 at full throttle depending on ambient air temp.

I would be very weary of your readings....those sound dangerous to me. At 3psi you should be getting richer not leaner. You should be seeing 12s at 3psi and 10s at full throttle and boost.

It increases directly proportional to the amount of boost you generate, so in my case im 43psi + 8psi.

Interesting. I specifically asked magnuson about this. They informed me it was unnecessary with a proper tune.

That is correct, but a lot of us guys are on the trd reflash (2009-2015) and have no control over fuel and cant run larger injectors.

You and gadget say that while the graphs I see while in closed loop generate boost while at 14.7 afr until it goes into open loop then the afr drops. Are you saying everytime you get boost your afr drops?

I was told to do this as well once I set up my boost gauge, for this same reason.

So who from the group successfully installed the supercharger with a 2.85 pulley and the bully dog tune with success and no problems afterward? From what I have read it seems like most people are getting problems when the 2.85 pulley comes into play on the bully dog tune.
