This road goes up and dead ends at 2 gates that are locked for the winter. They only grade it so people can get there snowmobile trails up the canyon.

I installed a black grill and black corners today. Gotta say, looks way better than the chrome front.

Thanks man, they have been sitting in my shed for like 3 months and I finally got them put together, then welded on. I figured it would be easier to just leave them bare and get them welded together then get welded on the truck. It honestly worked out great painting on the truck, just two large sheets of cardboard and some careful spraying.

I find that using the clip on handle sprayers has upped the quality of my paint jobs exponentially, you just have so much more control without the finger fatigue. Also, I have used self etching primer on the sliders and my front bumper and feel that it really helps the overall finish look much more even, but that could also be a byproduct of the spray handle attachment

I was recommended the self etching primer by fellow TW members. Seems to have worked out for them, so I am hoping the same for me. Of course, it probably won't matter at all once they get messed up on rocks lol

Eh it's of no real interest to me. I wanted a kickout anyway, so even if I had a choice, I would still have gotten it.

They also have one that's for a 4.25. Or do you think it's the 3.5?

I ran no lift, stock skids, and sliders for quite a bit. You learn lines, and how to push yourself and the truck while learning what you both are capable of. Looking forward to wheeling with ya one day.

Yeah I still have a lot to learn. But the sliders make feel a little more comfortable about going ahead and actually learning. I'm just so leery to do serious damage because the funds to repair are hard to come by. Not easy getting into a hobby that demands money when you don't really have much to spare.
Indeed looking forward. Your truck is like my truck's big brother.

Trust me I have the same sentiment. Up until recently my truck was my dd and I couldn't afford to repair anything if it broke. Damages typically only come when you stop giving a fuck. As long as you keep giving a fuck you will be okay lol

Then I'll have to keep giving a fuck. Being my DD and only vehicle have definitely influenced decisions already. Like me decision to get tube rear, and eventual tube front vs plate. They are lighter. Also why I will likely not go very large with tires. I do want to make the truck capable and have fun, but I have to compromise in some areas.
