I've now tried twice to practice the ukulele I got months ago to learn this music stuff... I practiced with the guitar a decent bit before I quickly learned that those instruments must be humidified or else they turn into pretzels.

@Madjik_Man did you make a sweet slow motion video of smashing that guitar? :D

    Some thoughts:

    1) Don't focus too much on "routine". The plurality--if not the majority--of adults are too busy/distracted to have a structured workout schedule. Focus on "discipline"...get it done, no matter what as @sean266 mentioned.

    2) Prepare your meals ahead of time. The day before, a few days before, a week before. When and if you have a free moment cook up some food and stick it in the freezer.

    3) Whether you can follow #2 or not when you do eat, eat clean. I'll put the burden of research and practice on what "clean" means on you personally. However, I will say this:

    4) If you were miserable and hungry while eating lean meats and vegetables, you were likely missing a good amount of fats. Simply speaking, fats slow digestion of certain nutrients and help to provide long-term fuel. Far too often "fats" are considered a bad word when it comes to nutrition. It's actually necessary. A quick search will reveal plenty of clean fats.

It was just a cheap Yamaha (i think). One of the starter ones. I had no idea that it needed humidity and they didnt mention it when I bought it. I put it on the stand, which happened to be near a baseboard heater. This was when I was at my apt that had heat that you couldn't turn off, so I had to leave the slider open most of the time... which blew on the front of the guitar. It didn't like it.

Agreed with @buffedout . Hell, my post workout meal consists of kids cereal and protein powder used as my "milk". Dont feed too much into bro-science.

I'm working on starting an acoustic band that is sorta outlaw country foot stomp sorta stuff because I'm infatuated with Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings era country too.

Since now I am confused if I should get smaller shackles or have the bumper fixed. I think your expertise was I didn't want to downsize the shackle?

If you were in my shoes what would you do? Lets not include the Business/Corey and take the bumper at face value....lets say this was a CBI/All Pro bumpers...

Yeah no doubt. I bet it bowed one way or the other..just get a sponge with distilled water..they sell little plastic holders and every two weeks check the sponge. You instruments will smell awesome and stay perfectly humidified
