I love Honda but the Ridgeline is the weirdest "truck" anywhere.

The sideways bed door is the silliest gimmick ever.

Also, Honda ruined all their new styling. The new pilots look like minivans and the ridgeline has the same bubbly, rounded front.

    Lame

I agree with you. I feel like they should have done something different with the exterior...it looks too much like the pilot. Feel like it was kind of half assed in that department...otherwise I'm sure it's still a great vehicle. Just not my cup of tea.

The only women that'll get with a man driving that Ridgeline will be 400lbs, so the payload will even out ;)

    Ha ha!

These "that is not a truck" pissing matches are funny, especially comparing a Tacoma.

They are all trucks...just different tools for different jobs.

Sometimes a small one will do...other times you need to go bigger.

It is not innovative. Ford and Chevy did it in the 50s with the El Camino and Ranchero. All it is, is a car turned into a pickup.

    Funny - that they are.

To me, a vehicle must be body on frame to be considered a "truck." Tacoma, 4Runner, lots of older Ford SUVs, etc. = trucks. Unibody does not a truck make, regardless of its payload or anything else. At the end of the day, it really makes no difference to me. I got what I wanted :)

The old F100's were Unibody...looks like a truck to me.

I think it is the first offering of a huge segment in the future. Essentially a crossover of a small SUV and small pickup. Millennials are starting to make their way in the world, and they are going to be the main buyer of them. Millennials like pickups and SUV's but smaller versions than their parents. Everyone is rushing a small pickup to the market for the same reason. This size might replace the half ton for the average family eventually.
