    Hello everyone,
My 2008 toyota Tacoma is giving me a hard time this has happened two different times about a week and a half apart. I turn the truck on and it dies after about 4 seconds. It will do this about 3 or 4 times then turn on and run normally. When the truck does this the engine light, engine oil light, a/t temp light, and battery light comes on. The lights disappear when the truck turns on. Other than that I've checked the engine oil and it is fine. Drives fine and idles fine. The truck has done this two separate times out of no where.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    How old is the battery?

Thank you guys for the speedy replies. I read that thread and now remember that something was up with the keys when I first got the truck I will try my spare key

    Are the battery terminals corroded?

Was any modification or action done immediately prior to the problem you are having?
