I've seen a bunch of those zooming around in Portugal, whenever I go there on vacation. Also see a bunch of the old school Mini Coopers in my hometown.

Morning all! Had to dig the truck out this morning, hadn't touched it since Friday. I ended up just clearing off the snow and throwing it in 4wd rather than actually clearing a spot. Lazy, I know. But it was so damn cold out!

 

When dealing with someone whose job is to help me that clearly isn't willing or able to do so, that's normal. I would have said much worse even with a customer service background.

 

I contemplated not snowblowing Saturday since it's supposed to be 50deg and rain tomorrow....

Yeah I just mentioned that to the girlfriend. It didn't seem worth it. Also, my bed was full of powder when I left and half empty when I got to the office. Sorry whoever was behind me!

 

Cool looking bikes, my buddy has one which I have ridden and it's just too low on power. He's 68 years old and about 130 lbs though so it works for him.

 

At this point you might as well leave it, it'll all be gone tomorrow. If not that's what 4wd is for

Cool bikes, but they are finicky. I have a couple relatives that have them and I swear they spend more time working on them than riding. Can't tell you how many times they were supposed to go for a ride with us and, unless we gave them a day notice to get their bike up and running, we'd show up and the damn thing wouldn't start or run for one reason or another.

 

It's called working smarter not harder

 

So there's a common saying in my industry. The best programmer is a lazy programmer. I've taken that to heart!

The reason is that a lazy programmer will not over-engineer anything, and will implement the easiest and simplest solution.

 

Give the laziest guy the hardest job and he will show you the easiest way to do it

 

makes sense you just don't want a stupid motivated one.

 

IDK how old the bikes that you guys are talking about but these new ones are liquid cooled and fuel injected now and the T120 has 80HP, that's plenty for me. I'm not a fan of needing to tinker to get it running either but if they run as good as they look I would definitely get one (if I could afford it)

 

I want to mess with a Ural motorcycle. I wouldn't buy one unless I happen to win the lottery and have a large disposable income, but it'd be fun to tool around on one for a while.
