It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
I am scheduling an appointment with a financial advisor... Need to figure out if I am as close to retirement as I think I am. The complicating factor there, is that my wife is 12 years younger then me, so will likely outlive me by 20 years or something...

 I didn't realize anybody was doing that with trucks; that's exactly what people up here are running on side by side UTVs and ATV quads. We take off the worthless stock plastic skids, and a local company here uses the thin stock plastic as a template to cut 3/4" thick HDPE skidplates. Works like a charm on my Ranger 6x6. They've prevented potential serious damage numerous times.

Ice ... I shouldn't say it, I don't want to jinx myself; but reading your posts makes me realize we've been lucky so far this year. Although we are about 50% low on normal annual snowfall ... that's probably gonna bite us in the ass with wildfires this Summer.

Pretty sure he posted it was gone...short post easy to have missed.

Funny, or not, I am the same way now especially with beer. At one time could drink a case in a day (don't ask). Now 2 I'm ready for bed. 3 I damn well better be in bed.

When I first got divorced one of the first things my mother said to me was don't get hooked up with a younger woman. Than she gave an example of someone I knew who was retired and went to Fl. in the winter and his wife was still back up North working.

Since then I've run into at least a dozen guys who have wives between 10-20 years younger than them and they are 60's-70's. Most are still working. And they all say the same thing they feel great and keep in shape to stay up with their wife. So the reports of your early demise may well be greatly exaggerated. At this point I don't care about the age of someone I date, younger or older, as long as they might be the right one.

Who the hell let those drunken sailors into the place?! Damn they earned their reputation after all, should know better. It is all downhill once they pull into port... :p
    Good morning\afternoon Chuck!

I just want (no, need) to make sure that she will be all set if she does outlive me by several years. She made me the man I am, and I owe her everything.
