Did you pull up to a wall or garage door so you could see where it was moving?

yeah I did. I might have seen a difference. What I should have done was measure the height on the wall before moving the adjusters. I'll try again tomorrow. Gotta get to bed. I'll update u guys tomorrow. Thanks for the help fellas.

I cranked on mine back and forth, up and down for an hour up against the garage door this past summer and never did get the damn headlight beam to move.

I need to adjust mine. When I hit my brights, it looks like the passenger side is high and too far left. And people have flashed their lights more frequently at me as I've owned this truck driving at night, no I'm not driving with my brights on.

often times the LED replacement bulbs are not setup properly like the standard bulb. their light output is in a different spot and creates tons of scatter. Often this results in blinding other drivers and making it harder to see for you as light isnt projected down the road nearly as far.

My recommendation, take them out and go with a standard bulb.

Osram are what were in my truck (which I assume are the factory bulbs). They are not at all brighter than my SIlverstar's, just sayin

Somewhere here is a dedicated thread explaining why running LED bulbs in our Halogen headlight housings are very bad...

But you don't have to listen to it either

Your actually right. there is a thread here that specifically breaks down the reasoning why you shouldn't run LED in a halogen housing. Think I can find that thread.....

Yeah looks like I'm gonna need to sell these LEDs. They're not working for me.

Agreed on not using LEDs in OEM housings...

And not all of us found our headlights easy to adjust. Bluezzy above hardly noticed any vertical or horizontal movement with generous spins of the adjusters. I noticed quick vertical movement, but very little horizontal. In my case, I could see the OEM housing moving side-2-side, but it made very little difference on where light was landing. Just making note of this as not everyone finds their lights easy to adjust.

Just wanted to report back. The adjustment worked perfectly. Phillips head was definitely the way to go. I had to crank on them quite a bit to get the lights down (~1.5" front lift). Haven't had anyone flash me in the past week or so, and now when I pull up behind a Civic my lights shine just a hair below the top of their trunk instead of flooding their back glass.

Hate I didn't do this sooner, but it's way easier than I realized it would be.

The instruction says to turn clockwise or counterclockwise, are they referring to the screw driver rotation or the rotation of the adjustment wheels? I can't seem to get the beam to move up or down.
