Alignment issue? Or truck issue?

I recently bought a 2016 tacoma 4door sr5 on May 2016. I work with it and drive about 100-200 miles a day. Right now I have a little over 20k miles on it. Around 12k miles my coworker pointed out that I have the same defect as his 2015 tundra which is that the passenger front tire is always wearing out on the outside no matter how many times he gets an alignment. I went and got it serviced on my 15k miles presented the problem to toyota and they suggested that I get the alignment just to be positive there is something wrong with it and it still is. So I'm wondering if anyone else here is having the same problem as me if so what can I do to fix it??

Those tires are bald, despite the extra sidewall wear.

 

Yes but for some reason I can't find the paper. I'm actually going back over there in a few because they said they would pay for new tires if it is still happening and now they're saying they'll pay for 1 and I buy the other

 

If you didn't get that in writing, make sure you bring your wallet.

 

My dad has the same thing happening on his 07 Tundra. Truck has been aligned twice and tire pressures are all good, it's just that front, passenger tire for some reason.

Your pictures kind of make it look like the tires are pretty worn all across the tread though.

 

His is front and rear, which is more odd. Either way, the fix should be warrantied as should the tires, IMO.. as there is some kind of fault causing the tire wear, and that fault is under warranty.

 

It's only on both front and rear because of tire rotation. It's being caused by the passenger front. My coworkers 2015 tundra does it too.

Front my understanding it's a flaw toyota has been having for a while. I just don't think anyone has said anything about it so I'm going to email toyota headquarters and see if I get a response
