Looking for bed ideas for my SAS build which will steal br reasonably Expo inspired. Anyone have some cool bed ideas/pictures they've saved? I'm looking for ideas. I have a blank canvas to work from. I just finished building my new frame. I was going to put my bobbed bedsides back on but I rather do something fully fabricated to hold my RTT and the rest of my stuff.

I'll have to overbuild the hell out of my swingout to hold up a spare 42

Heres what I currently have to work with

I think a box side storage bed would be rad...like a mini combo of a fleet work truck side set up and how most of the expo trailers look with storage under a bed rack.

You can use a lot of them actually. Just get GMRS license and you can use GMRS/FRS/MURS all in one radio. The GMRS license is a one time fee of like $65 and it covers your entire family. Not just your immediate family, your entire family. Uncles, cousins, all of them.

Learned a prefilter is not that great in snow storm. Traveled over 2 hours round trip today..

    On the way to destination

After both trips there was a build up of wet snow on the outside of prefilter and snorkel body. Inside prefilter after both trips was light dry snow, and air filter was dry as well. I was shocked to see it full of snow first time inspected. After thinking bout what the prefilter does started to make sense. Second time inspected, I was shocked to see it not as full as the first time with the same weather conditions both trips. After further thinking the only variable that really changed was the amount of traffic. First trip having more cars on a snowy highway made my speed constantly fluctuate between 30mph and 50mph. Second trip I was able to maintain an average speed of 50mph. Seems to show the intensity of suction with a prefilter while being on and off the throttle Mostly being on it will pull anything in and collected in the prefilter, I have even had rain collected this way.

Donaldson makes one that instead of collecting the particulate in a bowl, it auto ejects it out of the filter, so its maintenance free. only downside is it has a little bit larger profile than the ones with the bowls.

Edit: Donaldson Topspin is the product name

running the enginaire pre filter that auto ejects and haven't had any issues in the snow or during storms.

The enginaire is huge, looks like a popcorn machine, but it works keeping shit from clogging. Been very happy with the amount of maintence it requires (non yet all winter).

Three month old post .. i know, sorry.

Thanks for 'leading the way', Gramps - I made the mistake last night of browsing this thread when i did a search for overhead consoles .. and i did so with a fine Scotch or three in hand.

Apparently, according to this morning's unread email, i have the BRCHIO5 in-bound from Australia, within the next couple of weeks.

I really don't have a drinking problem. I just have a memory problem, in which i loose count of the number of drinks consumed.

The best way to check pattern of the bottom of the console, is to use our OEM consoles as a template for the curvature meeting the head-liner. That's what i'll be doing, anyway.
