Has anyone mounted a light bar in the skewp? I just measured mine and its about 14"L X 1.5" high. I have seen it done on the 2nd gens,, but not on 3rd Gens.
I found a decent flood light bar that is 13" X1" and would fit perfect. Would be nice to use the dead space since it isn't functional anyway. I hate gawdy roof mounted (unless you have a rack to blend in)
    Cheers!

Most of the light would be lost, you want to light the road up. Just put some LED's in it if you want the look.

How would it be lost? I plan on a SPOT LED bar in there, with WIDE beam fogs. Should provide even coverage.

We have not had the opportunity to get a 3rd gen with a scoop in the shop yet to design a kit. Hopefully we will be able to in the future!

I find this statement funny. I see a 2nd guy with a led in his fake scoop everyday in the early morning(still dark)and it is the most ridiculous looking thing, which is fitting cause so is the fake scoop. I would think the glare off the hood suck, too? I have to admit, I think just adding a bunch of lights for looks is really dumb altogether, though.

There is actually no glare off the hood at all.
