for loading my motorcycle i would need to find my rear wheel sits on the borderline of driveway on actual road, that would give me lowest truck bed height!!

in your case, i would even need the walk on ramp, just hope onto the bed...very nice!!!

Do you need to know, or care?
For a couple grand wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to drive down to Home Depot and hook up a utility trailer for half the price?

Lowering doesn't make a truck any less of a truck.

Agreed. But in the end it's only 3-1/2" on an already 1" lifted truck.

No argument there, the third gen isn't optimal for lowering, but it does have an aggressive stance when done.

Just not low, at least from what I've seen as a bolt on kit.

    For $5-7k though.. :D

No....but I have a 4cly Tacoma that I have hauled a car trailer and car with. I have a 6' bed on the Tacoma, so when I have long stuff I use my 70 chevy...I also have a dump truck at my disposal ...but it's loaded with firewood and has a 91/2' plow on it....so I use the chevy pickup(which happens to be lowered)not that it matters.

got to make sense though...when you are tired from a race weekend, you can't afford a mis-hap...

Say you get the kit I linked earlier, that's 3.5" lower. That doesn't make much difference in ramp angle.. and I would imagine for the same $1k+ you'd be spending for that kit plus install you could find a motorcycle trailer that'll fix the problem far more efficiently, and be easier to use.

I do believe vans are making a comeback.....just a matter of time before we see shag carpet and heart shaped beds in the back:)

    You're killing me.

I don't know what else to suggest, but at the end of the day you probably should've bought something different. Trailer won't work, and you'll still be loading into a high bed with the current bolt on lowering kits available, and they're not going to change your ramp angle or bed height all that much.
