    Chris-Are you looking at full thickness skids or some that are more "lightweight". I put on tranny and transfer case skids I made out of .150 material and I could certainly feel the weight. And I have a V6, albeit with 106k on it on the 3.4. I would think the 4cyl might feel it even more.
