Wish we could run around here in Calif with lights like that . we can't have more than (4) facing forward which includes OEM lighting . Also Off Road lights need to be covered or fuse / power disabled
    .
    That's a tuned header !!!

I had that thought to. I borrowed a friend's welder and watched some youtube videos-all set. Right! Worst lines of weld I had ever seen in my life. I could not figure out all the settings, wire size etc. A lot harder than it looks-humbled. Respect for you and those that do it.
Lights look great, does Rago make first gen brackets?

9°F for a high ... I went ahead and ran the truck thru a car wash to knock off a layer of grime. Last door sill was freezing up as I wiped it out. But I'm not running a snowblower or shoveling like Mike, so there's that to be thankful for. :)

    :hattip: Good Evening Susan

Nothing you really need or want to know about, I'm pretty sure. ;)

I had to dig thru some links in his signature, but it brought me to his FB page eventually. Yeah, I know what you mean, I haven't checked my FB in about a month. I need to figure out how to delete it.

    Sorry man.

    What's a slowtoday?

    Dude, thoughts and prayers.

    Nope

Yeah, there is a lot more to playing with hardened / alloys of alum but most of the stuff I am talking about avg person is not going to buy it would be very very expensive . You can anneal it tig weld it and harden it again but it takes a heat treating oven and very specific temp and time controls. If we end up doing the camping trip or meet up I will see if I can scavenge up some small plates of t3/t6 for you to play with :} I can't honestly see the cheap ass's you work for even buying a small piece of it to do a repair lol

IDK the difference all I know is it's a great well made product that literally bolted rt up to the engine and stock exhaust and does what they said so I'm happy. I've heard the term tuned header before but never really looked into it. Enlighten me please

Pick up a Stick welder and some 6011 1/8 rods and some junk steel , clean it well and strike an arc see what you can do . Once you get the hang of it move to mig , tig is a little more touchy but not really hard unless you want to get certs .

    I have two welders.
Built race cars with them. Very satisfying to build something. Get one and play...

Timing and politics had a lot to do with it. Didn't read it but have heard about it. Would recommend you do not eat first but here is the Secretary of Defense plan to start implementing transgender sex into the military, all branches. And how at the command level to adapt it. I'm so glad that I am retired and don't have to deal with that! Department of Defense Transgender Handbook

Hey that is a standard pot hole in Mn. Or pretty close to it some years. Mother nature has a way of destroying everything we build no matter where it is.

You have got to be kidding me! I'd like to see him handle 4 foot thick armored plated ship bulkhead steel. Or even a 1200 pound steam valve steam cut flange. I hope that junebug is not in the position of making decisions of any type where ever he is.

Has anyone called it in? Time for some cones and warning signs ... We had one here on the highway last year that took out a couple dozen vehicles and caused one pretty nasty crash.

I always wanted to learn Tig but got layed off before we were given classes. I'm ertified but don't put much stock into it. It's a good thing for people to do to get started but you aint welding until your laying under something welding rusty steel around a corner with a mirror
