Couple pictures on page one, broken OME shock, maybe a bent Bilstein shock, none showing spacers, just blaming them without proof. Page 4, guy jumped his Tacoma, didn't fail, kinda cool, wouldn't do it to mine. That thread showed zero proof of any spacer related failure. In fact, there are many guys on there running spacers issue free. So again, PLEASE, link me to a thread with solid proof not guys trying to show off their top dollar systems in an attempt to make guys with cheap spacers feel bad.

And now you own a Jeep. I've owned many, built more than I can count. I'd own a Jeep today if there were any real Jeeps being made these days. It's sad what they've become. Anyway, I've done it all also. Only lift I ever bought as a kit was on my 2006 Rubicon. Learned my lesson, I now build my own kits. My 95 XJ was up 7" put $3000-$3500 into that lift between 1 ton steering, SYE, custom 3" rear shaft, you know the drill. Truck drove so nice, so smooth, I also beat the living hell out of it so it was worth the investment. For the Tacoma, it'll never see that kind of abuse, not worth the money. Maybe one day 3rd gen 5100s with 888 coils but that'll be it.

A couple of those pictures I saw in person. All had spacers. And NONE were an OME shock......For the record, "OME = Old Man Emu".....very different than "OEM". Now.....I really don't care if you want to run stuffed unicorns on your trucks suspension. All we're doing is telling you the pros and cons. If you want to run spacers, go nuts! Just don't run around telling folks they are the best for the money. They aren't. And have risks associated with them.

I'm well aware of what OME stands for, also well aware they're owned by ARB I never said that they were the best option. I've stated repeatedly that there are better options out there and will continue to do so.

I thought of it and noticed it. If I were wheeling or going to full drop I would most definitely address it however I am not so I am not concerned.

You said there was a picture of an OME shock. There isn't one OME shock in the pictures in the link.

Ah but there is. Post 15 is an OME shock, not Bilstein. Look at the can, look at the bottom plate.

Then the only thing you "couldn't help to notice" is that I don't make bad decisions.

and unfortunately, I'm governed by the laws of reality and I don't have $3k in cash for a remote reservoir suspension 2 months after buying a brand new truck off the lot. But all things in time, as patience is a virtue.

Its hilarious you consider the truth "shit" talk, every last word out of my mouth has been grounded and researched 'reason'. I 110% stand behind my claim that spacer and block lifts are complete pieces of shit, bought on impulse, solely for parking lot appearance, that utterly ruin trucks. That's an objective claim too, not an opinion, and people can either be mad at me for 'saying it', or they can down that hard dose of reality and accept that a 'job done right' is the ONLY job worth doing.

I dont have to drink poison to know it will kill me.

Show me proof and truth, NO ONE has been able to do so as of yet. Not a single picture showing a single failed shock with a spacer on it. PROOF or don't bother.
