I was in wal mart picking up a large package for my neighbor and my wife calls who was driving my truck around while i was inside calls and says

"someone just hit your truck 3 times"

i go outside and luckily there is limited damage and by limited i mean a few scratches and a small ding on my bumper and tailgate, and for a short bit i was tempted to just say whatever and deal with it, but then i came to my senses and realized this is MY FREAKIN TACOMA, so we had exchanged info and he was really nice about it, i made a claim this evening just waiting to see what happens. Probably get a new bumper and a re painted tail gate out of it. I would post pics but its 1030pm and there really isnt much to see, this is more or less a rant thread.

as for the hit 3 times, he was backing into a space, tried to swing his front end to back in, tapped my bumper, pulled forward tapped it again, then while backing in more tapped in once more, who does that really?

That's what you get for going to Wal-Mart. I would never bring my truck in that parking lot. It's absolutely crazy. That sucks man. Hope everything works out for you.

well someone decided to come across the parking spaces at my school. and i couldnt see them, so when i pulled out guess what i caught. a chevy, aint that nice. and legally this is my fault. but common sense should tell you not to drive across the spaces. so i need a new fender, bumper, and grill. fml and i might have to buy him a new door

alright, got the estimate and the phone call from state farm (his insurance)

they are going to pay for a new rear bumper and the tail gate to be fixed and painted with new badges, total damages $1,016.xx

i will also have a rental car when i take the truck in to get fixed. Im not bitter, i had a few small dings in my tail gate from the previous owner and all that will get fixed.

The closer to the door a person parks = the bigger the idiot.

Lazy no good people do not like to walk much
I always park far from the door when there

does the insurance company do all the work for you as for as getting it fixed or do they just cut you a check for that amount? Just curious. BC if it were me, Id just get a new offroad bumper and maybe a tiregate

What a DOOOOSHHH bag. You would think he would have learned by the 1st time. At least you get to fix the dings form the previous owner.

That sentiment can be looked at 2 ways.

The farther away from the door a person parks = the more likely someone can get away with a hit and run.

I never like parking way far out, because I feel that there arent as many people around to witness what goes on.

    In a nutshell....

besides.. people usually fly through parking lots across lanes near the back... not really in the front.

I got it back today, tailgate came out flawless and the paint looks awesome (there was a few ripples and dings from the previous owner on the tail gate), i know there is no comparison but ill get a picture in the morning, i have to take it back next week for badges.
