Perhaps he doesn't know how to install the leaf pack? Any of the leaf packs Ive installed, have all been nice and silent.

They're all the same. I chose steel over aluminum but that's just me. Same goes for the rear blocks, steel not aluminum or now they even sell plastic.

Front spacers, $40 and work for me. If I upgrade it'll be purely for a better quality ride, nothing more.

You're asking me why I spent $40 on spacers rather than $400 on new front coils and springs? Because the $40 spacers work for my needs. Am I in love with them? No, but they get the job done. Would I like a smoother ride up front? Eh, I can take it or leave it, it's only slightly firmer than it was when stock. Will I upgrade at some point? Still undecided on that one. I may actually sell the truck and buy a 4Runner, undecided there also.

From what I can tell, your entire theme is you trade quality for the absolute dirt cheapest, corner cutting option you can possibly find. And not only that, you have years of experience at this very task.

Which sets off my BS detector in a second. AS soon as someone brags about all their experience, but doesn't know about a little light harness behind their bumper, why their rear suspension is harsh after they throw a block of metal in-between the springs and axel, or the difference between a solid axel, and an independent axel, I think they "might" have seen a YouTube video on how to change a tire.......

So what you're saying is you just wasted your own money (regardless of 40 or 400 dollars) and time and you don't even like it, yet still defending it. Gotcha

What were those "needs"? What "Job" was a spacer lift getting done for you? With 100% certainty it wasn't a need to increase performance, so what 'need' or 'job' would spacer lifts satisfy? Truthfully?

I know this is the answer (and 3/4 of Tacomaworld could say the same): "I absolutely positively MUST FIT 285/75/17 inch wheels under my truck by tomorrow, and so help me god ill drive this truck into a wall before I go another day without them"

thread after thread, mistake after mistake, and jacked up truck after jacked up truck. ALL of them to fit 285 tires. honest to god.

Never said I didn't like it?!?! I CLEARLY said it works for me. I stated they work for my needs. If I hated it, id have replaced it right away.

As stated repeatedly, purely for looks. I don't wheel my truck, I don't drive it hard, purely because I hated how low it was in stock form. I'm 6'2" I bought a truck not a car. I want to get up into my truck not sit down into it if that makes sense. I love everything else about the truck, just wanted it to sit a bit higher.

Really? Where did I say I hated the spacers? I said I don't LOVE them, not my favorite, but certainly never said I hated them. If I hated driving my brand new truck, i'd do what was needed to change that. Quite the opposite actually, other than wishing it had a bit more power. If I keep it it'll get 4.88 gears which will at least help some.
