Already have, but I would prefer real glass as all but the most expensive Lexan hazes within weeks.

My problem is the frame, not the glass. The hinge is shearing in half for some reason. It's to the point where it's broken it's way through almost half the length of the frame.

Installed Scangauge with a Paranoid Fab mount. Also programmed in the trans temp readout (labeled as TFT)

    Good thing there's a warranty.

Before I switched to a 170 URD thermostat my truck was running around 212 and sometimes 213.

Probably take 2-3 weeks to get a replacement though...

Damn that's a long wait. You didn't buy it at your local O'reilly's store?

Bought a new pair of those hydraulic wire crimpers so I can extend the solenoid box away from my winch. Hope to get the wiring done tonight so I can drop the bumper tomorrow and install everything.

batterys have to be shipped over on a ferry is why it can take a while for stuff to get here. Canadiantire is where i got the battery and they only stock a few sizes. Gona see if i can exchange for a different one. ive been unimpressed with this agm battery so far even when it did work.

I would until your replacement comes in. Which company of battery do you have? Sucks you have to have stuff shipped on a ferry. Kinda reminds me of my friend in Hawaii.

I kinda thought the same once I saw the number. However, the needle is hovering just below the half way mark. Exactly where it has been the 2+ years I've had the truck, hoping it stays that way.

When ever you need to get another flush on the radiator I would get a new thermostat as well see if that makes any difference.

Its the motomaster brand. Bought after seeing all the good reviews and 5 year warranty. Maybe it was defective from day 1? I hope so.

Could have a dead cell, it's not uncommon. Especially if it was stored for too long before it made it to you.

It's biased heavily. Most cars are so that they hover around the center mark within acceptable temp norms and it keeps the customer from freaking out or bringing the car in because they're hypochondriacs and monitor every degree that it goes over 185...

It can happen. I work somewhere that replaces battery time to time and I seen a couple that's not a month old, just today someone thought corrosion on a terminal was battery acid :facepalm:and still wanted to replace the battery after it was still tested good.

But Speedy might be right about your battery.

From 170-213 is when the gauge stays in the middle. My truck ran over 215 one time and I noticed the engine temp gauge was a lot higher than usual.
