I've had a few sets of them. One of the main problems I had was them sticking to the bead sealer or lubricant that they use when the seat the tire on the wheel. This was maddening because then I had to pay them to take it off and clean them out. Turns out most of my issue was a drive line problem in my 06 which is a whole other story, but they seemed to be pretty smooth at constant speeds. As I recall, you can feel them adjusting while you get up to speed.

@Sapper82, I ordered the same led fogs, still waiting on them. They look great on your truck. Easy to swap out?

I had Firestone balance my Toyo's with sand bags or beads, I haven't had any issues.

Hey Jerry, which uca's are those, and how do the TC compare?

These are the Icon billet ucas. Performance wise, they are nearly identical to the previous icon tubular ucas however at the frame mounts, these use heims vs. polly bushings and sleeves. The heims are a lot more serviceable, tighten up the steering/handling areally more durable and a bit more quiet. Plus, bling!! Lol

OK, it's decided. Going with all gray. Thanks for your inputs.

It must be nice not to have to put a front license plate on. Just ruins the whole look...

Gotta love the Bling factor! Always heard people talking about Total Chaos and light racing. I went with the TC, but I really like those Icons!

TC makes a great product! Absolutely nothing wrong with them at all, you made a great purchase. My buddy and truck doppelganger here locally is running their heimed uppers as well as their race series lowers

Hey Jerry, I had the cmc done, not rubbing there, but with partial turn and flex, I rub on the outside of back of flare right on the bottom. I like the stance with the 1.25" spacers, but think they are the problem. Thinking going without them, or seeing if a body shop could modify that area without major reconstruction and cost. I believe the pinch weld would be right behind the plastic fender and liner. Any thoughts or ideas. I would actually like to go with the 75's next time which are obviously a little taller.

Oh I have no doubt that with your specific setup, the spacers are the culprit. With your lift, you should be able to easily run the same size tire as me, especially with the cmc. I did trim some of the plastic inner fender as well as flatten the pinch weld, but with all that done, I don't rub at all. Just took a little extra effort.. But with the 6 inch lift you have, and the cmc, ditch the spacers and see what happens. My wheels are 4.75bs with 0 offset and I've got 285/75 17 under a 3 inch...

Tinted front windows, inserted the piano black tacoma letters, added the Tacoma OEM rubber bed mat, weathertech floor liners, OEM mud guards and everyone is in for a treat when my phone mount pieces finally arrive :)
note on the piano black Tacoma letters - I regret I did not seek out higher quality letters with a raised center - these are basically cut from very thin tinted Plexiglass/flat plastic sheet. But I do get compliments on them regardless.

Future immediate goals - and HELP REQUESTED ON A BED COVER???!!!! I need help figuring out which bed cover to purchase. So far my favorite is the Gatortrax Retractable - I work in an office and live in an apartment, I don't need something crazy tough like the Gatortrax MX, but I'm worried about losing the 12" of bed space, it's only a 5 foot bed and so for that reason I want to buy the GatorTrax FX3 Aluminum Three panel sits flush with cab when folded completely up. Ugh sucks giving up that beautiful retractable gloss classy bed though - has anyone here had experience with either bed cover - just looking mostly to secure items from rain and theft - but do need to haul from time to time using full bed.
