So I've got a BSP 2010 TRD sport. So far all I've done is tint all of the windows (Limo in the back over the privacy glass, and 15 in the front), I had my stock 17" wheels powder coated matte black, I removed the TRD decals, installed 3000K HIDs, and got a catback magnaflow exhaust. I want to do 2 more things in the near future,(don't want to lift it because of warranty) I want to make my own satoshi grille. AND try to do the BHLM.

Here's the issue, I've heard that the BHLM is difficult to do on the 2010s because they've already somewhat darkened around the lights. Does anyone know what I'm going to have to do to solve this problem? And any input on making my own satoshi?

shouldnt be a problem since your just sanding off the all the chrome paint that is on the plastic anyways.

it should not. Since the only thing you are painting is the piece that goes around the headlight reflector, so if it was made dark at the factory your just sanding it down to ruff up the surface and you will be painting over it.

Just check out all the satoshi write ups and pick which kind you like best(flush, recessed). Then it's just a matter of getting the courage to start it. Then you have to finish.

Paint is holding up great. I did it a year ago and not a single chip. The paint on my hood has more chips than my grille

    Don't hate on the bling.

Feel free to hate on the lack of visibility from the crappy projectors. :bananadead:

We gotta find you some steady profitable employment!

I'm a post whore. There will be pictures.

2 years is a better lifespan than most of the parts on my truck. :p

    :(
