well i had to take the spindles to the shop to get them pressed out will start cutting them apart for the kit

i snapped both of the spots where you squeez the snap ring.... go EFFING FIGURE i know why they call the damn things snap rings

 

ugh the rain is killing all of my ability to work....

 

well i had my arms checked out by a certified welder... my welder wasnt hot enough... so ill be looking for a 210 soon.

 

good thing you got them checked out professionally! good thinking!

 

sucks but atleast you will end up doing it right.

 

true true... these ones ive decided will go on a jig and then i can work out the bugs with out having to put them on a truck

I am subscribed to this thread now. Come by my house if you want to see the Power Mig 350MP. You can't touch it though cuz I am afraid you will get goo on it.

Seriously, nice drawing. The arm looks way overbuilt, which is how I prefer to do things. A bigger mig will do a nice job, a tig will be nicer if you can get the hang of it.

Next time you get into town and are going to Mike's place, ring me up. I will go with you. He's a cool guy.

you should think about putting a wrap around those bushing tubes

 

any other updates on progress? and agree with^^^. would add some extra strength with not much extra work or weight

 

ive been working on the upper control arm design. i had a second set cut out and realized that the semi circle for my uniballs was too small ill be haveing those recut again and the uppers in a week or two.

 

just curious if you do get longer lca's is it necessary to have extended uca's as well. say we put the lca's that you fabricated on my trucks with the tc uca's...would it work?

 

no... im designin my own upper control arms and spindles... i wanted to do something like camburgs race kit... but with my own designs

 

got the uppers cut and bent today heres what they look like

 

ive never seen any looking like that. looks good though
