Should I paint the chrome?

    I'm getting kinda tired of my chrome front end but the pops says "why the hell would you wanna paint chrome thats ignorant" But should I and what color?

    If he was in Miami I'd agree. :D I think it looks good as is but if you gotta paint it I think black would look best. That would keep it in the overall color scheme.

    I say color match the grille, and paint the entire bumper black or dark gray so it would all match.

    I also do not wanna paint my inserts.

    my cousin has a 00 trd extra cab. we painted his grill surround and chrome front bumper strips. they came out nice. he sanded, then used self etching primer on the chrome bumper. sanded and used adhesion promoter,then primer on the grill surround. good luck
    i think your truck will look way better with ....well... less chrome :p
