@stikle how do you like those skid plates?

Stopped by Mule yesterday in Issaquah since I hadn't been in the retail space since it was behind XXX. They liked the Vision X Light Cannons on my truck, and snapped a pic (they asked of course.) Made their Facebook and Instagram too!

So many cool things in their shop, really impressed with their well-though out selection. Now I just need a small mortgage to buy all the things I'd love to have.....:D

"A quick minute" = months of pain, physical therapy, and ultimately a steroid shot through the side of my neck into the bulging disc. After that, all better. Dumbass.

The skids did their job at TSF. All scraped up and need repainted now, but that's their purpose. Also I decided that I need to get Ryan to make me something to protect the driveshaft better - found candy striping on it from my first rock garden. Coulda been a rough situation.

My hand was just a little bit too large to fit through the hole to get to the oil plug. Why does that matter? I installed a Fumoto valve to easier change the oil. There's a little tube attached that's tucked in above the skid plate so I can just drain it right into milk jugs. So a friend with a plasma cutter oblonged the hole a little bit. Should still work fine as armor.

First quote was $16K. Second and third were $10.5K. One of them was willing to do a repair, so I paid them $1020 to fix all of the valleys with V shaped flashing. That'll get me through the winter until I can see about getting refinanced for the cash to redo the whole thing.

    Yay, life. Hello 2017!

I think it's awesome that he just sits there with that happy face as if someone had asked him to say his ABCs. Meanwhile I just want to burn my gear and step out in front of the MAX. :bananadead:

If that's really you, I wouldn't mind meeting up every now and then for a jam. I am hideously shy and my talent is fledgling, but I really could use the practice if you don't mind being basic
If you want to get matched up with something more serious, I could drop a word

Why yes, yes it is. Read the description for details.

TLDR: A bunch of vids of me re-learning how to play drums in reverse chronological order (he's gone from suck to blow!) Total amature as far as I'm concerned. Basic-r-Us. And I wouldn't say "hideously shy", but I'm more "obscenely self-conscious".

Who owns the black 2nd gen AC that tried to balance on the guard rail yesterday? Saw it on the news last night.

Got 4" fresh yesterday. Currently where I haven't scraped, shoveled, plowed, or blown out, and the snow has settled, about 16-18".

I pulled my utility trailer out of my pasture a couple weeks ago, and that was a sloppy mess getting out of there. Dodge quad cab 6 ft bed has so much worse of a turning radius than ACLB taco that in the space I was working in, I couldn't do a loop to turn around, instead had to turn, back up, then forward again. I chewed up the snow first before hooking up to the trailer, then still had issues getting the trailer to turn in reverse. Finally got the trailer out and put the Jetta in.

I'm so sad to hear the news of a friend's house burning down a couple of days ago. This elderly couple was who my girlfriend, her dad, and I stayed with last summer in Applegate, Southern Oregon. Some of the nicest people I've ever met. Probably even harder because they're in their late 70's, early 80's.

Has anyone ever had their coilovers freeze or be affected by the cold? This is the first winter the truck has been in sub freezing temps for the past month. This evening while I was driving home my truck sounded like I had no suspension. Harsh bounces, loud clunks, etc. Nothing broken or leaking that I can see

Stock or aftermarket? I was in Alaska for 3 years with ToyTec coilovers and never had an issue.
