Best coilover for lightest tacomas?

Im trying to research which coilover to buy for my 2010 prerunner. I see stiffness as being a complaint at times. I was thinking, i have the regular cab 4 cyl so im the lightest. maybe many of the coilovers are for heavier trucks and have stiffer springs. which coilovers should i be looking at? thanks.

 

any ideas? my order submission finger is getting itchy

they are user rebuildable and you can customize your shock oil, valving, and coil spring rate...

 

And really, the stiffness aspect really comes into play with how YOU like your truck to ride. Of course if you have a coilover maxed ouut it's gonna ride a bit stiff, but if you go up halfway, it will be half as stiff and so on, you know?

That being said, i absolutely LOVE my ICON CO's! I would recommend them to anyone wanting to lift their truck.

thanks guys. sounds like both kings and icons are a safe bet. but do you think, since i have a light reg cab 4 cyl, i would benifit from using a 2.0 vs a 2.5 shock? anyone know about this? im just trying to match this suspension the best i can, since it's going to cost an assload of money.

 

2.5 won't heat up as much, so your shock will last a bit longer... most of the coilovers are 2.5 although Fox I think makes a 2.0...

 

Icons are super stiff. That's why I took mine off.

Thanks alot guys. I decided to go with the icons. Wheelers said they could special order extended icons valved for my specific truck (4cyl-reg cab). I got those, camburg UCA's, the 3-leaf AAL, and bilstien 5100's.
