    Ok, so I'm a little late to posting it here, but I finally got the truck I've always wanted. I've had lots of Tundras and Sequoias, but finally got my Taco! Here's a pick with the start of the work done to it, and a fresh dent in the side of the bed from a friend dropping his dirt bike on it. More to come in the 3rd gen forum.

    He was smart enough to run away screaming "I'll buy you a new bed". That made me laugh. I took it by the stealership for a repair quote. $1200. I wasn't willing to raise my ins rates over it, so went home and kinda popped it out with a plunger. You can still see it, but it's not terrible. I managed to do almost the same thing to the other side just leaning over into the bed to secure bikes. The bed sides are really really thin. Anyways, as you'll see in the 3rd gen thread, it's going to get it's share of bumps and bruises because of what I intend it for.

    Oh for sure. My '16 already has a scratch from a shopping cart! Mad about it yes but over the years all those scratches and dings will give the truck character... At least that's what I tell myself.

    Hello all! New member here, KY native and nomad. Just purchased my dream truck as well, 2017 TRD Off Road 4x4. Certified pre-owned.

    I saved for what seemed like forever, found a great deal, made an intelligent offer, got the deal I wanted and bought my dream truck!

    In the words of the great Joe Diffie "my first car was a pickup truck". More specifically a 1992 Toyota Pickup and ever since the day I sold her I wanted my truck back! The car I bought with the money from selling my '92 Toyota was traded in on this truck and I feel whole again.
