The A-TRAC and Crawl Control use the OR Brake Booster.

... and quantify the difference in what someone would see in real world conditions.

Again, something on Toyota web site? I see a lot of folks talking out their ass about the differences, and no backing it up. As with a previous post. "The Sport is basically the same as the SR5" When researched there are a lot of differences.

Ok, so would an OR manual trans have the "OR" Brake Booster, as it doesn't have Crawl Control?

Yes the manual has the Off Road Booster, that is why l mentioned A-TRAC along with Crawl Control.

Go to around 8:20 on the Video of a "Sport" and you will see a Traditional Style Vacuum Booster, the Off Road has a Big Hydraulic/Electronic contraption in order to Operate A-Trac and or Crawl Control, totally different setup.

Question for you guys. since i ordered A SR5 it comes with the round chrome tube steps. I have no need for them and dont want them.. since its an option? Should i have them take the steps off and deduct that from the cost of the truck? I told them already that i dont want them, none the less paying 400 bucks for them.

Yes. Don't pay for crap you don't want.

And how the heck did they end up on something you ordered?

If it's not on your order sheet, don't pay for it. If it's on the truck and you ordered it, they can take it off -- and put back the plastic plugs that go in the mounting holes.

If you fight you are playing their game. While I'll negotiate with a dealer in good faith, I won't play games.

You should have an order sheet if you put a deposit down on it. If the truck doesn't match the order sheet, you tell them what needs to happen to make it match. If they balk, calmly tell them to call you when the truck is ready, get up, and calmly walk out.

This is also why I *ALWAY* negotiate on a "drive out" basis. Limits the opportunity for surprises. The bottom line number matches what we agreed on or it doesn't.

Getting something you "Ordered" that fast is amazing, mine is 2 to 5 Months, absolutely have them removed if they were not on the Order you placed!

You are probably right, I got fixated on that Order word and it didn't even cross my mind that they were doing a Dealer Trade.

No discount from my dealer, they say they will but i paid about 4k less from a different dealer which is sad. My rate was 2.74 which is not terrible we'll see if i keep the truck longer then 2 years anyways.

Well I ordered my truck in mid December and it's apparently being built this week. Should be ready for pickup in two weeks.
