Hey guys Im thinking about ditching my OEM roof rack. Anyone with a double cab interested in one for a second gen? Im on the hunt for some drip molding that would be needed to cover my channels after the roof rack that we could swap out with.

I am looking into some 255/85/16s. Been wanting to pull the trigger for a while but have concerns about rubbing. Did you have any issues?

These have been sold. But mud tires are not that great for daily driving. I have switched to Cooper ST Maxx in the same size. No issues so far!

I am currently running the ST Maxx as well in 265/75/16. Wanting to gobigger butI have heard a lot of mixed reviews about rubbing issues. I have 3in of lift front and back, and I don't mind trimming plastic. I just don't want to rub the frame. What is your wheel offset? And what lift are you running?

I am not rubbing the frame at all. My wheels are 16x8, 0 offset. I think thats 4.5BS? My suspension is Icon 2.5 Resi with 700lb springs in the front, and Dakars and the same Icons in the rear. I believe I am at 3in in the front

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate the feedback. Now I have to get rid of my 265s.

Looks great man. Yea I love them. This was my first set of coopers. I was always a BFG all/mud terrain guy but I have been very impressed with the ST Maxx

You should be fine with 285 with 3 inches of lift but you will need to do a cab mount chop as the tire will be too wide and will rub. Honestly though there are some good folks here who can do that.

Oh no I'm not trying 285s. 255/85s is what I'm looking at

You should be fine. I didn't rub with stock OEM wheels and the OME kit up front and 255/85/16 km2s

Ah good man then I would stay 255. A few up here have those tires and they don't rub. Also I bet your tires sell fast.

Thanks fellas. I'll probably be posting the sale of my tires and wheels on here this weekend after I take some pictures. If you know anyone who might be interested let me know.

I run the ST Maxx 255/80/17 E load on a 17x8 0mm offset with 4.5BS. No rubbing. Previously ran km2s of same size with no rubbing.
