O'Reilly has a lifetime warranty on theirs if you are going to keep it, trade a broken one for a new one. But makes more sense to rent it than buy it.

Yea, I plan on just keeping it as I don't want to deal with going to the store and making sure they have it in stock each time I go somewhere. Then if it ever breaks I just take back the broken and get some money back.

I saw that and was tempted, but don't want to run a RTT on the shell for weight reasons. But now that I look at it... that is super tempting.

And I would rather buy something like that with a warranty.

    Hahahaha.

Yeah, why would there not be a warranty, that seems sketchy.

Since it is a closeout and more than likely something they will not support or carry anymore.

    @rjbiii

You asked to see my Shiner Bottle Cap collection. The shadow box was etched myself.

I have some more in the kitchen... I need a bigger vase...

Holy, crap... I do not know what to buy next.

I want to outfit my Prinsu racks with stuff like Rotopax, Plano case, Maxtrax, full size spare setup and such.
Or do I want to do the Bussman RTMR system
Get a better ground tent like an OzTent or something
Do better audio and sound deaden the entire cab area

Thinking audio and sound deaden as that would provide the most comfort on road trips and then build up the rack stuff.

I think i am going to bring a hammock, misquito net, and tarp for camping in the mountains. Will be very small to pack and simple to set up.

If you have a fuse block and relays already i would say wait a bit on the RTMR till you get more electronics/lights hooked up. Or just save for the S-POD....

Sound deadening will be an extensive project. It takes a bit longer than one would imagine to get the interior out, dampening in, and interior back in... Just make sure you get a roller to apply the dampener... But its nice. I just did my front doors, but i did the whole door on each side. It feels a bit heavier, and sounds way more solid when the door shuts.

That is on the schedule for Rock Therapy. Planning on a Colorado trip around FJ summit though if I get register for FJ summit.

Yea, I have a hammock as well, but have never slept in it. I may have an OZ-Tent by then, but not sure.

I have a lot of lights now and would like to clean up the engine bay a lot and clean up all the wiring, so that is why I am thinking the RTMR.

As far as sound deadning, I would rather do all if it all at once. Doors, floor, back wall, and roof, would also be doing new front and rear door speakers plus a new amp mounted under front seat. I think it would be better to do it all at once than in pieces.

But I could go ahead and get the stuff and do the doors and door speakers and maybe back wall, then come back and do the floor and roof at some point. I just want it a lot more quiet in the truck for road trips.
