Has anyone painted their grill body colored? I'm bored and that's never good, things tend to get ruined ..

How do I know what Bilstein 5100's to get? I've never ordered a set and would like someone to steer me in the right direction. Saw a guy on here with the Bilstein 5100's and 285/70's on there. Looked perfect. I don't need tires yet but could get the 5100's. Thanks!

 

Headstrongoffroad.com and just select what you want. 3rd gen 5100 with OME 888 could set to 0 should give you about 3" up front. Go 2.5" in the back with the extended length 5100 Bilstein shocks and you'll be golden.

 

I want to tint mine still waiting on this ny Window tint bs to fall off.

 

Still glad I got this color over the quicksand. Haven't washed the truck in close to two months. Still looks fairly good from 20 feet away! lol.

 

Yeah I saw this new tint from a company Dubir it looks great, prob just gonna go with 20% on the 4 side windows and the back window. What's going on with the NY laws about tinting?

 

Its only the fine mist of salt water that looks terrible. Only when it dries, though.

 

The law doesn't apply to pickup trucks

 

Here's my '16 TRD Sport. Had it 4 months and Love it and can't wait to take it to the beach.

 

Haven't washed mine in over a month due to the rain but still looks clean from a distance. Can't imagine how white or black looks like this time a year lol.

 

One had better keep a copy of this in their TACO if they have a Tint darker than allowed for Passenger Cars. And even then, the likelihood would be that the Cop writing you a ticket would just say "Tell it to the Judge. Have a nice day".

 

Even if the cop lets you off, you won't be able to pass inspection with the tint. But honestly I feel like the stock tint isn't too bad.

 

Once again. Pickup technically does not classify as a passenger car... and the new law for inspection only applies to sedans.

 

Took delivery this afternoon. So of course it had to be raining . . .

 

After talking to several dealers the past week or so I made the leap today. Sport 4x4 DCSB. Prem & Tech with JBL. Tow and Tonneau Cover. $37,008. Should have it in about a month.
