I was pulling out my hair cause all the voltage calculators would show me getting a 15% voltage drop which was UNACCEPTABLE. So I kept havin to upsize my wire... but it was hard to find it

 

I think im good LED's cant draw that much compared to HID's ive never checked for a voltage drop lol

 

I'm not sure about Bluetooth options as I was just planning to get it w/Bluetooth. Not so much to operate the switches but to be able to change their settings.

Most of them are good from like 10~14v I think? Some even more. I won't buy from a company that can't give me the ranges their diodes run in. Some even go to 9v so you can test with a little 9v in your garage before hookup!

 

Thanks! So it's similar to the Switch Pros setup in that it's consolidated circuits and simplified wiring, with a few additional features like strobe and what not.

Lol. Yeah I hooked up 2 rigid 2x2 pods on each side of the truck and hooked to existing fog light wires. Im thinking I need to upsize the wire to avoid melting. What do you think?

You not going to need them or you never put them on? Don't want to get too flexy and compromise your brakes.

 

I think your ok stock bulbs were like 45 watts and the rigids are 15ish if im not mistaken.

 

I don't foresee myself really needing them. I'm never gonna be doing some crazy crawling where I need extended in the front.

Ohms and watts laws are your best friend when creating circuits...

 

Your not into the rock crawler flexing but... I did see air between you and the ground last weekend. That means your suspension was forcefully extended to its Max in a split second. Better safe then sorry in my opinion. Would suck to dive into the next corner and realise that all of a sudden you brake pedal goes to the floor and your still going fast. Put them on junior.

Definitely not. Even arrays of LEDs tend to draw significantly lower amperage loads than a halogen bulb of any kind.

 

Plus they are braided so you should get a little more braking power out of them vs the stock rubber ones that "swell or expand" under high pressure.
