Then comes into play how you "tap in" to the circuit. If it's bush league then you get dim or flickering lights when you hit bumps etc. Or worse a short to ground that kills them when you need them most. Just look at the wire size you tapped. If it's little 20 gauge bs I start getting uncomfortable. I'll see if I can dig up wire size and ratings somewhere on the interwebs

What about the factory fuse panel, we can still tap our wires into that until it's full right? Also howd you mount the Sea Blue Panel on top of it?
You & @digitaLbraVo would be so annoyed if you saw mine and my dad's wiring under my hood, lots of wires that could be a lot cleaner. I need to rip out my inner fender and none of my wiring is waterproof SOS

Yep i just screwed right into the top of it ! I never used or messed with any of the factory fusebox stuff only replaced fuses i have blown "learning" I did tap into the incab one.

I assume it is, but that sea blue is water proof correct? I really need to waterproof my wiring so I can rip out my busted inner fender

The inner fender well is still there, it's not a clear shot into the engine bay without a liner.

 

Blue Sea has a water proof one I believe, @dtaco06 went with a different fuse box for actual water proof not "water resistant" mine is just "resistant"

If you mean that plastic shit in the wheel: nah. Theres the metal fender well that you see inside the engine bay still.

It may have holes but you won't be wide open like a caged trophy truck is.

Just watch out for the intake...
