Save your money. It's a terrible build.

 

Really it looks like an awesome build.

 

I wish I had bought more than just one of the OG UCS Millennium Falcon

 

I wish I'd bought at least one. I looked at it many time but I just couldn't (wouldn't) pay that much for it then. I should have consulted Capt. Hindsight.

 

It isn't terrible. It was the last FA set that I bought for a reason. I was able to get a nice discount on it before thanksgiving. I'm sure I would have got it regardless because I'm a completest.

 

I had this kit when I was a kid

 

Most of the boys birthday Lego.

 

Lucky boy. He'll really enjoy them.

 

If he had his way he'd be building stuff with Lego every day.

 

I've picked these up over the last couple of weeks.

 

All I had to get was a shower curtain from Target. Somehow I ended up with this stuff too.

 

Jangbricks does a great review of the new Assembly Square.

Lego is normally really quick on shipping items. You should get them very soon.

 

Had the boys birthday party today and gave each kid one of set #16 in their goodie bag, let some keep the leftovers.

 

^^^ the hiker is one of my all time favs. Not to mention banana man rocks.

Was helping my brother move this weekend, and i came across our old Lego bin that was in his spare room closet. I opened it up and found two vehicles i built from scratch years ago, which were still intact: a firetruck and a tow truck. So i took them home with me.

The firetruck has hoses that come out, the ladders extend and the base is a swivel, and there's storage in the rear section.

The tow truck has suspension, the hook extends out, has a "winch", a light that swivels, and tools.

I wish I still had my old sets. I remember making an awful lot of "cabins". ^^^ I like the sets they would have been fun to play with.

 

I wish they still made the shocks. Pretty sure they came in one or two sets and that's it
