So the HID would be cheaper than the regular ones? or is that an extra 30 for the hid conversion kit?

It has all the wires and stuff for the install. You will have to get with nick or john about how to mount the lights you might have to get a few other things to mount them.

    Jason,

I PM'd you back about being able to get together. I may have been off about the $60 for the Hella's, they are not expensive. Maybe they were $40. I would consentrate on the grill first, then do the lights maybe another time.
When I did my grill I cut out all the center stuff, sanded and touched up the flange with a piss can of black paint. It's not hard to do really and will look so much better. I also still have a can of the high temp black paint left too. I sent you my home number so call me tomorrow if you can. Monday is a Holiday for you? Everyday is a Holiday for me...

They are about 60.00 , The wires that come with them are JUNK, I like the wire that you get from Home Depo/Lowes, its has an extra coating on them. I ran 12ga wire & ran in line fuse, If you look at my picks , I got after market switches, you can get them from autozone for about 15.00, Yes you will need a dremel to get them in there but its not hard....

You'll have to let me know how it goes for you. I have the GC on order and will be doing the Hella HIDs here soon - really want to do HIDs for my headlights but the # of recent complaints about bad ballasts and stuff has me alittle worried (and I am still confused on the whole clipping the rubber boot and stuff to allow the HIDs to even fit).

If I go with 6k for the headlights, would I go 8k for fogs to make it make sense?

To my knowledge yellow light cuts through fog better so you would want to go lower for the fogs unless you want it to be more white/blue.

I guess I should of clarified that I dont know if I am going Fog or Driving style lights behind the grill yet either - Driving I know will give me further light while fog will give me the wide angle.

I would either go with a lower number for the fogs and higher for the head lights. Mine are 6K and 3K fogs. And they are great.

I wouldnt mind getting together and meeting all you guys if you get together Sunday afternoon - wont have a chance to get any parts for any mods (unless I can get the stuff for the rear breather mod - but I doubt I can order that one piece that quick).
