@scocar @jAndyMendo I've been driving the tundra around the last 2 days with those diamond chains and 4wd. HIGHLY recommend.
My only criticism is you will have to stop a couple times to tighten them as they settle into place. I picked up a set of rubber tensioners and they work titties. No annoying bumps in the cab like the ladder chains and boy can you drive like an asshole.

Maybe I should have planned this out better, but I'm thinking of integrating the bumper into the flatbed. I wanted under-bed boxes but they would probably get destroyed off road. Plus, I keep my recovery points and trailer hitch.

Also thinking of slapping a fuel cell in here.

Planning for the future. A 35" tire won't fit under there...

I also have a replacement tensioner in my bag for when it snaps. I love my diamond chains, especially on icy off camber downhill cliff sides

Prob going to get two sets of these though when I go 35's because I can

    Check out the build
You could modify the tire carrier to fit a 35. You could probably make a new support bracket that's built into the flatbed so the tire clears.

Selling the whole bed to @2015whitetaco for his trailer build.

I already talked to the fabricator about raising the tire carrier. Then I'd lose the crossmember. If I add a tank, he could add one in front and behind the tank.

But the flatbed will add strength to the rear frame and the crossmember would be really close to the mounting points.

    image.jpg

    Maybe that's an easier route.

You're going to need two military style sidesaddle spares. Or put them on top of the cab. And add a receiver sideways under the frame where you can insert your new spare wheel jib crane as needed. Don't forget to make a stowage provision for the jib crane. Let me know if you need more help.
