Thought I'd share how I got my dirt bike in my 17 DC OR 5' Box with the tailgate up.

Most of the time i'm ok with my bike in the back and the tail gate down but for those times when you need the gate up like towing this can come in handy.

All you have to do is drag your front wheel of your bike on top of the wheel well. I was able to do this solo but it would be easier with a friend especially if your bike is on the heavier side. The trick is to pull on your outside tie down as far as you can to prevent the bike from leaning in, then pick up you back wheel and swing it over to the other side and pull on the other tie down. Once the tailgate was up it felt very secure.
    Happy travels!

Nice!! The 300's are beasts!!! Pic of my 16 200XCW along side of my old 15 250 XCF-W that I sold to a dude down the road. We only rode once together, and this is a pic from a family enduro we did this summer. I have owned three KTM's now, and love them. Have fun tomorrow, and ride safe.

    Some good looking bikes fellas!

Another note, I was thinking if your bike needs a few extra inches you could always loosen the back axel and slide it all the way forward and tighten again for the trip. My bike JUST fit so anything bigger might need some extra help.

Nice EXC! You must have just got that. I heard they were delayed for quite some time because of California emission issues.
