Hello all. Still waitng on my TRD Pro. My first yota was an '84 SR5. Loved it! 21 years later, I got smart and sold the 3/4 ton mega cab ram. Kids are moving out and I'm looking forward to a smaller truck (and a smoother ride!) I test drove every truck in town and decided to go back to how it all started for me. i live in Alaska now and while the full size trucks were good; they didn't suit my outdoor life the way I think i remember the yota did. We shall see.....if it ever gets here.

I found this forum while looking for add ons. I look forward to learning from the vast knowledge in here. Thanks for having me

    Will do.
I have a 30" rigid E2 from my last truck that may get installed. Floor liners, sill protectors, bed cover, possibly a roof rack. I've been looking at tear drop campers, so everything revolves around how that goes. Otherwise i like some of the roof tents and such I've seen here so far.

Theres so many good ideas here that I'm going nuts waiting.

Been there , done that . I don't think I could do it again. I brought my truck in for serviced and talked them into ordering a Pro without a penny down or promise to buy. They were really impressed with my lift and accessories they had out do me.....lol

@musher what is that 30" light bar like? I was thinking of getting the same model but haven't been able to find a lot of guys with tacomas and their opinion on that specific bar.

I had it on my dodge 3/4 ton. I loved it. It was mounted on a headache rack and over some beacons. The output is amazing. Next to other brands its brighter. Way better than my previous light force, even with blue covers. I got the crazy expensive rigid for the warranty. No issues yet. We tested several brands and found the rigid e series worked best for us. Down side is it doesnt fit the hole i want to use on my grill. I just ordered a prinsu roof rack from zach so i may see how it looks up there. Otherwise it will be sold for the single row to go in my grill.

And thanks all for the welcome. Ive already spent tons thanks to this site!

Thanks! I found it online in May and decided i wanted it. "Ordered" in August, got it end of November. Wasnt quite what i wanted but really liking it. I havent had a yota in years and the newest i owned was an 88. This thing is a dream compared to those and coming from a 3/4 ton. No regrets at all.

Was suppose to be super white and manual. 2 Pros made it to Alaska. Both red and auto. I could have flown to states but didnt want to spend the money. I got a screaming deal so im happy.

Thats a bummer on color. Sadly That alone would have made me walk away, pro or not. It doesnt help that I dont like Red vehicles and refuse top ever buy one. Well unless I won the lottery and bought a Ferrari. White would have been nice but I would have tried to get cement. Looks good in pictrures and I've seen a similar color on a scion and really liked it.

Wouldn't a white truck considered camo in Alaska? You would just be in stealth mode for the 5 months hehe

It is funny how many white cars we have up here. Most of them drive with no lights on. Which is great; 5 months of winter, snow, fog etc and low light. Smart people!

Welcome to the forum. Your story sounded like the owners here, until the Alaska part. Can't say he's had that pleasure yet, but it's nice you've gone full circle and chose the Taco. Congrats.
