    Can anyone shed some light on how to wire these Light bars or the best options to tap for use with dimming and only functional when the truck is on.

    I've ordered through the Black Friday deal that Cali Raised has going.

    I'm going to use an add-a-circuit fuse tap on one of the high-beam fuses in the under-hood fuse box. That wire will run to my Mictuning switch to the left of my steering wheel and back out to the relay switch that Cali provides.

    Thus the bar will only be on if the dash switch is pushed in and my high beams are activated and the power for the lights will come direct from the battery, but activated by the relay switch.

    Capish?

    I have another switch I would like to use because this one will not fit the center buttons on the 3rd gen...just the buttons to the left of the steering wheel and I have no open slots. Does the back of your premium harness switch look like this one? This is a picture of the switch I have...its the smaller pushbutton style so if its the same pin config I should be able to use your harness and my smaller switch with no cutting. Once the premium harness is available of course. :)

    will these be back lit?
    how will the color compare to the rest of the dash lights?
    how will it connect to power?(i would assume if it was direct to the battery, the switch would be constantly lit)

    IMAG0126.jpg Installed Kodiak eclipse bar and swapped out the switch. The switch only comes on when pushed to turn on the led bar...I didn't want to mess with splicing the switch into factory wiring or adding fuses.

    Where did you get the piece to cover that cubby hole where your switches are? Also, did you have to drill out a hole in the back of the cubby for the wires to go through?
    Did you have to dremel out the holes or were there blanks already there?

    @CaliRaisedLed
    Are you still offering the combo kits? the link is dead, and when I'm on 2016+ Tacoma section of your site I don't see any combo's? I just got my 2017 and would like to add a lightbar, but wanting to stay away from piece-mealing it together. from reading through all the lightbar threads it sounds like I'd like your 31.5" with stealth mount (behind my lower grill?).

    Thanks for any information you can provide :)

    I have a @CaliRaisedLed 30.5" with the stealth mount brackets from @MojaveMadman and I love it. It was so simple to install, the instructions that come with the brackets are so easy to follow and I am not mechanically inclined. I have them stand alone but I would like to wire them to my high beams but I have never gotten around to it. The hardest part about wiring mine was getting the wires through the firewall, from there it was super easy. I use a Mic Tuning switch so I had to get an "Add-A-Fuse" so that I could have the lights on the switch work correctly (even though 2 days in, the light that should have been on at all times burnt out). I will add a picture later today.

    The light bar part on my switch that was on when my headlights were on worked for 2 days then burnt out.. I was a little bummed about that since I felt so accomplished wiring everything from the harness to the mic tuning switch.:(

    Tell me about it. :pout:

    Did you buy the switch from Amazon? I still have my original defective switch, and my current (replacement) switch is defective. I'm SOL with Amazon, but it would be nice if MicTuning would replace them, though while I haven't tried to do that, I doubt it'd be accomodated on account of cheap Chinese shit.

    Will the MicTuning switch work as a simple on/off (not lighted) without needing to use an add-a-circuit, or does it need power to the switch?
