Got it. I guess what I was getting after is the back spacing on your 16s vs 17s keeps the the linear distance equivalent from the UCA .... 4.00 -12mm on 17 and 4.30 -10 on 16 is same same (obviously not in diameter)

The 16" will provide a little better clearance in reference to the tire and UCA area.

    Fustrated.....but in a good way.
Got my 17" Ray10 Gunmetal with glossy lip blem about a week ago. I think I got the last one, ever.
The first thing you do when you get a blem is you try to look for the imperfection.....well my fustration was I couldn't find the damn imperfection.
The only possible blem was a few verrryyyyyy minor light scratches....which I needed to look at sideways using a flashlight to even notice. My fingerprint smudge was 10x worse than the scratches. So if you are on the fence about a blem, don't be...unboxING and tire mounting will create more scratches than what was on mine so don't worry and save a few bucks.
Thanks Vin for a "perfect" blem and great customer service.

Dude, I pointed that out a while back, Vin @SCSPerformance posted some pics of the blems he puts on here and its frikkin ridiculous. Like, a single pin head size bubble in the powdercoating and Vin kicks it back. Just good customer service right there, man

If anyone is interested, I have 4 SR8 matte dark bronze 17" wheels that I bought as blems from Vin. All still in the boxes the were shipped in. Had bought them prior to deployment and then spent too much time looking at photos while away and decided I want matte black. PM me if interested!

I'm waiting for set of 16x8 sr8's to become available but can they fit over the brake calipers? It's a nightmare to find 16" wheels for my 2016 trd sport.

Really? Every 16" rim I've ever put on my 11 and 15 fit just fine. Did they increase caliper size on the 16+?

So I've been going off what 4wheel parts told me. Apparently they talk out of their arses though because I went to a American tire co and I put at least half a dozen 16" wheels on and the fit perfectly. I got simple 16" mb's for around 110 each and put ko2's 265/75/16.

Yeah 4wheelparts has no idea what they are talking about. When I bought my ProComp wheels from them I argued with the guy for like 5 minutes on the phone telling him I know people with the exact same truck and wheel combo and they fit fine but he was trying to tell me they wouldn't sell them to me because they wouldn't fit. If they hadn't been $75 cheaper on the set I would've just agreed with him and bought somewhere else, I will avoid buying there ever again if I can.
