I hit up this place on 40th between Washington & Van Buren last week for Taco Tuesday. Carne asada was pretty good but the guac was that diarrhea paste you get at Filis.

Ive been craving Burrito Shack as well, think ill have to hit it up on my way ti Avid this weekend.

Never on the W side anymore. Ive been talking about Panaderia for years in here. For those that are in C PHX its on Thomas & 32nd street. Head there about 11am when the chicken and steak are just coming off the grills outside. They have this habenero salsa that is so fucking good, but your asshole will hate you later.

If you guys ever come down or pass down by Hermosillo, I'll take you guys to some real Sonoran Carne asada tacos, percherones, cabeza, barbacoa, lengua, cachete and hot dogs
    Edit.
Also some fresh sea food, ceviche and agua chiles

DPS trooper shot on I-10. Freeway closed going west.

Looks like a civilian stopped on the road and shot the suspect that shot the trooper. God bless AZ gun laws.

Its terrible and good news in one post.

Lots of really great places that we can point you to assuming youre willing. Phoenix has become quite the melting pot of culture and food. Lots of "fusion" resturants as well as food trucks everywhere. Some of which are just fantastic.

So i guess it depends on how open minded you are to leave your comfort zone.

Dont get some of us started on Pho...

I'm open minded AF...but I can't do spicy and there's certain foods I have to avoid. One of my old friends used to call me "baby tummy" because I couldn't handle a lot of foods. New places used to make me sick a lot. I've ventured out a lot more in the last five years.

I was only planning on doing lunch in AZ. But I might stay for a day or two. We shall see.

I thought you were moving here? Also, spicy is something you built up. Sounds like you need us to open your mind a bit more. Youre missing out on some amazing food.

My father lives in Puerto Penasco, Ive been there once... Never again. This gringo learned that he doesnt belong in certain parts of Mexico.
Ive wanted to travel futher south and take in the culture of true Mexico and its people, the sad part is that Americans are just targets in certain parts of the world. Now that weve got Trump wanting to erect a giant wall between us, I feel it will only add to the negative outlook of Americans.

Arizona DPS Trooper Shot By Tonopah

Tonopah, Arizona – An Arizona DPS Trooper was shot on Thursday morning after responding to a rollover collision.

At the scene Westbound I-10 near Tonopah, the trooper was shot and a civilian got on the trooper’s radio to report the shooting.

DISPATCHER: “To the civilian on the DPS trooper’s radio, if you can hear me, I need you to let me know where the suspect is that got in an altercation with our trooper.”

CIVILIAN: “The suspect is uh, occasionally breathing or stirring. He’s been shot by a passer-by. He’s laying right next to the officer.”

Police sources tell us that the suspect was shot and they could not confirm who shot the suspect.

    From a police news website.

Nope. Just passing through on a cross country trip. I have a feeling I may consider leaving the south shortly after my 30th birthday. Just trying to see what else is out there.

Lil Miss BBQ is a sweet spot if you don't want spicy for lunch.

Youre just getting started. Sounds like a great time for a life change. In my opinion, 30 is where it all changed for me. Now that im approaching 40, the universe is telling me to change it again.
