Have a couple pairs of those one piece insulated jumpers... But they have a lot of holes in them. They do take the edge off though

They paid it back, more or less. We owned them temporarily, but not any longer.

We get ground survey at specific locations, but use LIDAR for 99% of what we need. Probably not as accurate as you need though, 6" vertical at 1000' wide survey width.

It's pretty neat, they collect billions of points and then run them through an algorithm to determine ground, trees/veg, structures, roads, conductor etc... Then you get a full 3d model of a project area in dxf. 1484237325823-1187075911.jpg

Thats awesome. What program do you use to manage your point clouds? I have watched tutorials on scanning software and researched exactly what I would need, just haven't pulled any triggers yet. In land development, it is somewhat impractical when you are dealing with 65 acres or more. It looks like it is more beneficial to smaller sites, but I have seen companies using drones now to do their own sites.

The guy I am using charges such a small fee to do a new flight and give me 2' contours, but if I can justify the large initial purchase, I would seriously consider it more.

Nice! I haven't installed mine yet - need to get it powdercoated. Be careful when you get it, they didn't debur the edges on mine and I sliced my finger open when I first went to pick it up. I'm having it powdercoated with hopes of it not keeping the sharp edges.... The last thing I want to do is sit there for an hour deburing.. I mean I could.. but hell no

Well it's a group buy and he hasn't even figured out the price for an AC panel. So I think I've got some time.

Yeah I don't even have a grinder to de-burr it. so I'll have to think of something. How much did the powdercoating run you?

Haven't gotten mine coated yet - its been on the back burner because I had to get the sound dampener in and when it finally came in it was too cold to do. I'll probably get it coated this spring or something.

Let me know when you do, I may jump in there with you and split the cost! Depending when mine comes in.
