I haven't hunted in snow yet but I really want to. Once it gets below 0 is when I'd call it quits.

I prefer hunting in the cold weather. If there is a hint of me breaking a sweat- I prefer to stay inside.

Went out with the missus yesterday looking for late season grouse/ pheasants.

It's fun when they flush from the snow.

This guy gets it. I love to mix up a good Evan and water when I hunt in the afternoon.

First deer in 6 years, also the first deer I have shot in Texas since moving here. Dropped her dead in her tracks at 110yds. Glad for the meat in the freezer. Like my grandfather says, "You can't eat horns."

u can tell pretty easy by the hand guard and the straight bolt and also that the butt of the gun touches the back wall and the front still sticks out 2 1/2 feet of the shootin house haha

They left the bayonet mount off, though. Poor attention to detail.

I made a 6'x6' has plenty of room. The previous one I made was 4'x6' and it didnt have as much room as I liked for bow shooting. It did work, just not comfortable as I wanted.

This will be 4x8. Feeders are 100 yards out and 90 degrees apart from blind

It works for rifle shooting, just a little tight squeeze for bow hunting.

Yeah. That's why we have a separate tripod closer to our feeders. Here is a nice sketch of the layout. When the deer walk from one feeder to the next we get some really good shots with a bow.

my 4'x8' is on stilts we've shot a couple deer out of it with rifle and bow, My 6'x6' is on the ground but I didnt hunt much out of it this season and didnt get to shoot anything out of it. I have a good lane of traffic in the front I can shoot my bow through. the opening to the left is too small for bow so it would only be a rifle shot.
