3rd Gen. LED Light Bar in Bumper. 31" max? Or has anyone gone bigger?

Hey everyone, been looking around to see if anyone has been able to modify the 2016+ bumper to mount an LED light bar bigger than 30-31".
Every website sells an LED light bar for a 2016+ for the bumper as 30-31"
Has anyone been able to fit anything bigger such as 36-38" by cutting a little plastic out from either side?
Here is a pic of my 3rd Gen front bumper. The red lines show the rectangle opening that will fit a 30-31" light bar. The blue lines show what size light bar I'm looking to make fit with a little trimming.
Now I know the brackets would need to be modified to fit a bigger light bar.
Wondering if anyone has an info on this or if someone has a build thread of this?

You would have to make different style mounts or probably your own mounts in order to do that since everyone makes 30-31" light bar mounts!

 

My thoughts would be the combination of extra cutting, custom mounts and the extra lamp cost would not provide a sufficient enhancement in projected lumens.

 

OP did you end up getting a light bar?

 

Yes I actually got one last week. Will be installing it this weekend. I ordered a 36" bar at first and when I received it it would have been too big, too much trimming to fit it. So i shipped it back and got a normal 32" that fits in there like everyone else.
